ViViRA — Prescription app for back pain
Vivira Health Lab develops and markets ViViRA, a digital therapeutic app (DiGA) for musculoskeletal conditions that provides guided home training to reduce pain and restore physical function. ViViRA is a CE-marked medical device (class I) and is permanently listed as a DiGA by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM).
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Munich and Berlin, Vivira Health Lab focuses on clinical effectiveness, patient safety, data protection and information security. The company holds ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 certifications and processes user data only within Germany and the EU. The app is reimbursable by statutory health insurers in Germany with a medical prescription.
