Vivira Health Lab is a digital health company developing and marketing digital health applications (DiGA) focused on musculoskeletal diseases. Their goal is to help people with musculoskeletal disorders reduce pain and restore physical function through digital therapy programs.
The company is based in Munich and Berlin and was founded in 2015 by Dr. Philip Heimann along with rehabilitation clinic operators Dr. Petra Becker and Fabian Blank.
Product and Mission
The first product of Vivira Health Lab is ViViRA, the most prescribed app on prescription for back pain in Germany. It offers guideline-compliant movement therapy training for pain reduction based on a functional training principle.
ViViRA is a CE-marked medical device class I according to the Medical Device Regulation 2017/745 (MDR) and is listed by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as a permanently reimbursable digital health application (DiGA).
Vivira's mission is to help as many people as possible reduce pain through an easy-to-use, effective digital solution, prioritizing medical effectiveness, patient safety, data protection, and information security.
