What we do
At Vara we believe that improved early detection of breast cancer should be standard for every woman worldwide. Our AI-powered software platform, developed in close collaboration with radiologists in Germany, leads to higher detection rates, fewer false-positive results and reduces workload for routine examinations — demonstrated by the largest prospective study in healthcare to date with around 500,000 participating women.
Our mission is to make breast cancer screening more effective, measurable and accessible. By improving early detection and ensuring clinically proven outcomes, we contribute to national efforts to improve women's health.
Vara was founded in 2018 as the first company spun out of Merantix, Europe's leading AI venture studio, and has grown into an international team of 25 dedicated professionals. Our diverse team brings together entrepreneurs, healthcare experts and technology innovators with a shared goal: sustainably improving breast cancer screening.

Your role
As Technical Project Manager (m/w/d) you will act as a central interface, working directly with our customers, developers, product managers, AI specialists and the operations team to successfully deploy our product and ensure smooth operation and support.

- Professional and confident communication in German and English (both at least C1 level).
- Willingness to travel (10–20%) within Germany for customer projects, trainings and trade shows.
Nice-to-haves:
