Opportunity
They seek a senior software engineer passionate about mobile experiences and tackling technical challenges. This role reports to the engineering director and focuses on productivity, quality, and results in iOS engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead iOS engineering team, focusing on productivity, quality, and results.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Build best-in-class mobile apps.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Focus on product quality and user experience.
- Take initiative and own technical solutions.
- Maintain engineering best practices.
- Mentor and coach new hires and engineers.
- Additional responsibilities including on-call rotations.
- Comfortable using Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) and other health-related sensors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Experience building iOS apps integrating health sensors like CGMs, smartwatches, BP monitors.
- 9+ years iOS development experience.
- 9+ years writing Swift code.
- 5+ years experience with local databases using SQLite.
- Expertise using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Flutter and Dart development experience.
- 1+ year Python/AI experience in AWS.
- 1+ year Android and Kotlin development experience.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD, Bluetooth/IoT, iOS security.
- Willingness and capability to learn new coding languages within 90 days, including Flutter, Dart, Python, AWS, AI system design.
- Remote U.S. based job requiring U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range is $200,000 to $210,000.
