Opportunity

Twin Health is a consumer tech company with a focus on mobile and IoT technology. They seek software engineers passionate about creating mobile experiences, learning new technologies, and tackling technical challenges. The Senior Software Engineer will write scalable code, mentor others, and handle complex problems. This role reports to the engineering director.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
  • Build best in class fitness and wellness mobile apps.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Focus on overall product quality and user experience.
  • Take initiative and be responsible for technical solutions.
  • Mentor and coach new engineering hires and other software engineers.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including on-call rotations.
  • Comfortable wearing a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), and other health related sensors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Experience building Android apps integrating health sensors like CGMs, smartwatches, BP monitors, smart scales, delivering seamless user experiences.
  • 3+ years Android software development experience.
  • 3+ years writing Kotlin software.
  • 1+ year designing and implementing local databases using SQLite.
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year Flutter and Dart development experience.
  • 1+ year Python/AI development experience in AWS.
  • 1+ year iOS and Swift development experience.
  • Experience in mobile software CI/CD, iOS Bluetooth/IoT solutions, iOS security.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new coding languages as needed; proficiency in Flutter, Dart, Python, AWS, and AI system design within 90 days.
  • Remote position based in the US; applicants must be authorized to work in the US. No new visa sponsorships currently, but may transfer existing visas for qualified candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range is $160,000-$180,000 annually.
