Job Opportunity

Certified Medical Assistants at Twin Health work across multiple practice areas, supporting clinical and administrative tasks. The role focuses on teamwork, communication, and organization, supporting member intake, enrollment, and program care management. Responsibilities include preparing charts, scheduling appointments, medication reconciliation, verifying provider and pharmacy information, conducting member phone calls, and coordinating with service advisors and nurses. Proficiency with scheduling, documentation, and multiple systems is critical.

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm PST (9:30-6 MST, 10:30-7 CST, 11:30-8 EST), Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm PST, Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-5pm PST.

Responsibilities

  • Work across multiple practice areas including Intake, Enrollment, and Program Activation.
  • Collaborate to capture and confirm health profile information for virtual onboarding and visits.
  • Maintain accurate member health information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Conduct new member phone visits and documentation, engaging members in partnership with Enrollment team.
  • Support scheduling coordination for accurate member visits.
  • Provide administrative support for care management activities and projects with the care and nursing teams.
  • Assist with medication requests, lab reminders, prior authorizations, and non-clinical triaging.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and accurate documentation skills.
  • Support pilots and process improvements, provide feedback, track processes.
  • Perform member outreach to complete medication entry and capture missing information.
  • Use EMR tools, portal messages, phone calls, faxes, and letters.
  • Assist RN in onboarding task coordination.
  • Participate in team huddles, care planning, and operational meetings.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to members and providers as needed.
  • Work under general supervision of Team Leader or RN Ops Manager.
  • Complete other duties such as policy updates and technology learning.

Qualifications

  • National Certification in Medical Assisting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy and ability to connect with members and teammates.
  • 2+ years of college education.
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare working with clinicians.
  • Proficiency typically achieved with 3-5 years experience as Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with electronic health records and video conferencing platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare practices, medical vocabulary, patient intake, medication reconciliation.
  • Access to high-speed internet and phone lines.
  • Passion for the mission to transform lives by reversing chronic metabolic diseases.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
