About the Role


At Goody, we pride ourselves on curating only the best of the best brands for our platform, which means this role requires a rare blend of taste, judgment, and business acumen. As a Partnerships Manager, you'll be responsible for building the relationships that shape Goody's giftable assortment and strengthen our brand ecosystem.

You'll evaluate opportunities, not just through the lens of growth, but also through quality, brand alignment, and customer delight.

This role reports directly to our Head of Partnerships, giving you the opportunity to work closely with leadership on strategy, while also owning high-impact relationships end-to-end.

This is a highly strategic and externally facing role: one day you may be negotiating a partnership with a beloved household name, and the next day discovering an emerging brand that perfectly matches our ethos, or fills a gap. You'll act as both a tastemaker and a dealmaker, ensuring Goody remains the go-to destination for thoughtful, elevated gifting.

Success in this role requires equal parts relationship-building, strategic execution, and an instinct for what feels premium and differentiated in the market.

What You'll Do


  • Drive outbound opportunities and curate with intention: Proactively identify, reach out to, and pitch prospective partners, from emerging brands to national household names, to expand Goody's curated ecosystem
  • Be a tastemaker and strategist: Stay ahead of culture and know which brands, creators, and trends are breaking through right now, while balancing brand cachet with strong business fundamentals to select partners that elevate Goody's assortment
  • Negotiate impactful deals: Structure and secure partnership agreements that drive mutual value while protecting Goody's premium positioning
  • Deepen existing relationships: Manage and nurture our current brand and platform partners to ensure long-term success and growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, CX, and Sales
  • Measure what matters: Track partnership performance against both qualitative (brand equity, customer delight) and quantitative (revenue, engagement) outcomes
  • Stay organized and operationally excellent: Build clear processes, maintain accurate documentation, and keep multiple partnerships moving forward simultaneously without missing details
  • Represent Goody externally: Be the face of Goody in meetings, events, and industry forums, strengthening our reputation as a highly curated and premium gifting platform
  • Add Value: Beyond your day to day, you will add value in undefined, but meaningful ways.

What We're Looking For


  • Remote-first (preference for candidates based in NY, LA, or SF)
  • 4-6 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management (startup, marketplace, trend forecasting, or consumer tech experience a plus)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Culturally plugged in. You naturally keep up with the hottest brands, trends, and tastemakers, and can spot what's about to break through before it does
  • You take ownership and don't wait for permission to make things better
  • Proven track record of structuring and closing impactful deals
  • You move fast, prioritize well, and communicate clearly and often
  • Strong brand instincts and a keen eye for curation, taste, and quality
  • Strategic thinker who can balance creative brand-building with sound business fundamentals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and growth mindset
