Finance & Operations Associate
At Tucuvi, we help healthcare organizations ensure every patient receives timely high-quality care by augmenting clinical teams with AI. Our clinical-grade AI Care Management platform automates and orchestrates high-volume workflows end to end, combining autonomous AI agents (including LOLA, our Voice Clinical Agent) with workflow logic, escalation, documentation, and seamless integration into existing health system infrastructure. Tucuvi is the first Class IIb SaMD-approved AI platform for Voice AI driven patient management.
CONTEXT
Tucuvi is entering a scale-up phase. We are ~50 people and growing rapidly as we consolidate our presence in Europe and expand in the US. With this growth comes greater financial discipline, new reporting requirements, and the need to strengthen our finance foundations. This role is pivotal to help accelerate growth, scale efficiently, and strengthen financial and operational foundations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is a finance-first role with exposure to operations. You will:
- Own monthly closing coordination with our external accountants in Spain, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
- Implement internal financial controls and scalable processes, including opportunities for automation.
- Ensure compliance across Spain, EU and US.
- Manage vendors and contracts, including spend tracking, renewals, and documentation.
- Support cross-functional projects, including grants, tenders, data requests, reviews, and market analyses.
- Handle operational tasks needed to keep the company running smoothly.
FIRST MONTHS — EXPECTATIONS
1 Month — onboarding and baseline understanding: understand business model and reporting cadence; learn existing accounting processes; get familiar with tools; review and validate monthly close outputs; start managing basic vendor and contract tracking.
3 Months — taking ownership: own monthly closing end-to-end; play an active role in the financial audit; implement initial internal controls and standardized processes; produce weekly finance dashboards; lead compliance coordination for Spain and begin mapping EU/US requirements; run smaller operational projects independently.
6 Months — operational excellence: deliver repeatable monthly close and reporting cycles; own vendor management and cost optimization; support tenders/grants/data requests independently; collaborate on scalable processes for EU/US expansion.
12 Months — scaling and strategic contribution: drive continuous improvement of reporting and forecasting accuracy; support structural changes for international expansion; take increasing responsibility over FP&A functions; handle complex cross-functional projects with minimal supervision.
