Conversational AI Reviewer

At Tucuvi we help healthcare organizations ensure every patient receives timely high-quality care by augmenting clinical teams with AI. Our clinical-grade AI Care Management platform automates and orchestrates high-volume workflows end to end, combining autonomous AI agents (including LOLA, our Voice Clinical Agent) with workflow logic, escalation, documentation, and integration into existing health system infrastructure.

CONTEXT

As Tucuvi scales across Europe, the UK and the US, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and clinical accuracy is a priority. With increasing volume of patient conversations in multiple languages and clinical contexts, we are expanding our team to ensure consistent quality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This part-time (24 hours/week), fully remote role focuses on reviewing, analyzing and improving AI–patient phone calls — primarily in Portuguese, and also supporting Spanish and English — to ensure clinical accuracy, safety and regulatory compliance.
The role combines hands-on conversation analysis, collaboration with product and conversational design teams, and performance tracking to drive continuous improvement of the AI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, analyze and correct AI–patient phone conversations to ensure quality and compliance with medical protocols in a timely manner.
  • Support Conversational Designers to develop and implement best practices for AI-driven clinical conversations.
  • Identify and report recurring issues and assess the clinical appropriateness of AI responses.
  • Track and report AI system performance in patient management and clinical support.
  • Support ongoing improvements to the AI's natural language processing capabilities.

WITH WHOM YOU WILL WORK

You will work closely with Product, Conversational Design and clinical quality teams, including:
  • Elena Pavía — Chief of Staff to the CTO
  • Andrea Galdánez — Conversational AI Reviewer
  • Mar Bernardo — Conversational AI Reviewer
  • Laura Parra — Conversational Designer

REQUIREMENTS

Native or near-native Portuguese is required, with high proficiency in English and Spanish. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for the languages of the patient calls are essential.
  • Availability to work primarily during the morning shift (4 hours/day between 10:00 and 14:00 CET).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and provide actionable feedback.
  • Understanding of patient privacy laws and data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment with evolving technologies.
Nice-to-have: degrees or training in computational linguistics, conversational design or UX research; knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare regulations; familiarity with AI, NLP or machine learning.

WHAT WE OFFER

Fixed and variable salary, plus flexible benefits through Cobee (meal vouchers, transport, nursery options).
Fully remote, asynchronous work with flexible hours; at least two team-building events per year; 23 days of annual leave plus your birthday and 6 local/regional holidays; training and development budget; a Mac laptop and required equipment.
The role offers the opportunity to join a mission-driven team and make a real impact on patients' lives.
