Contract Therapist

About the role

The company is looking for a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers the flexibility and rewards of private practice without administrative work hassles such as insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs, which Talkspace handles. Therapists can create their own schedule and focus on providing impactful care.

Responsibilities

Treat clients remotely in your licensed state(s) using Talkspace's secure (HIPAA compliant) platform with video, audio, and live messaging services. Respond to asynchronous client messages weekly and complete required clinical documentation after each session.

Qualifications

Current independent practice license in Connecticut as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Must have individual professional malpractice liability insurance, NPI number, comfort with technology, reliable internet, and video-capable device.

Compensation

$70 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (prorated for shorter sessions), additional pay for asynchronous messaging, and new client engagement bonuses depending on plan type. Rates may vary for multi-state practice and change over time.
