We’re looking for a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it.
This role offers the flexibility and rewards of private practice without administrative hassles, as Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs.
Responsibilities
- Treat clients remotely in your state(s) of licensure on the secure HIPAA-compliant Talkspace platform.
- Conduct client sessions using video, audio, and live messaging services.
- Respond to asynchronous client messages weekly in a timely manner.
- Complete required clinical documentation after each client session.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice independently without supervision in Louisiana as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
- Individual NPI number.
- Comfortable learning new online tools and technology.
- Reliable internet connection and video-capable device.

Compensation
- $70 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (prorated for 45 and 30 minute sessions).
- Additional compensation for asynchronous messaging.
- New client engagement bonuses varying by plan type.
The rates may vary based on treating clients in multiple states and market demand shifts.
