We are seeking a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers flexibility and rewards of private practice without administrative hassles as Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs. Therapists create their schedules and focus on providing impactful care.
Responsibilities
- Treat clients remotely in the state(s) of licensure using the secure (HIPAA compliant) Talkspace platform
- Conduct client sessions via video, audio, and live messaging services
- Respond to asynchronous client messages weekly in a timely manner
- Complete required clinical documentation after each client session
Qualifications
- Current license to practice independently without supervision in Missouri as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy
- Individual NPI number
- Comfortable learning new online tools and technology
- Reliable internet connection and video-capable device

Compensation
- $70 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (prorated for 45 and 30-minute sessions)
- Additional compensation for asynchronous messaging
- New client engagement bonus, varying by plan type
