We’re seeking an experienced Counsel to lead legal strategy and execution across our commercial, compliance, and corporate functions. This is a high-impact role for a lawyer who thrives in ambiguity and wants to help shape the legal foundation of a category-defining healthcare technology company.
You’ll bring a strong foundation from a top law firm, combined with in-house or healthtech startup experience—ideally both. You’ll advise across HIPAA, contracting, product, employment, and regulatory issues while acting as a strategic partner to leadership.
About the Role:
- Serve as the primary legal advisor across SuperDial’s operations: commercial, corporate, regulatory, and employment
- Review and negotiate commercial agreements with healthcare providers, vendors, and partners
- Advise on healthcare regulatory issues, especially HIPAA, HITECH, state privacy laws, and payer-provider relationships
- Guide internal teams on product and AI-related legal risks, data use, and ethical AI best practices
- Partner with sales and customer success on deal structure and contract redlines
- Support fundraising, corporate governance, and cap table management in collaboration with outside counsel
- Create and maintain internal policies, templates, and scalable legal infrastructure
- Own legal operations, including managing outside counsel and overseeing compliance programs
About You:
- J.D. from a top-tier law school and active bar membership (California or New York preferred)
- 3+ years of experience, including time at a top Big Law firm and 1+ year in-house at a healthcare or healthtech company
- Deep knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare contracting, and regulatory frameworks relevant to digital health and AI
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements (SaaS, BAAs, partnership, etc.)
- Ability to translate legal concepts into practical advice for fast-moving teams
- Comfort in early-stage environments: independent, solutions-oriented, pragmatic
- Bonus: Experience supporting AI/ML or voice-based technologies
Why Join Us?
- Play a foundational role in a high-growth company reshaping the healthcare landscape
- Work alongside a sharp, mission-driven team with deep healthcare and AI experience
- Competitive compensation, early equity, and benefits built for ambitious operators
- Influence how healthcare data is handled, protected, and innovated on—at scale
The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skill set, and fit. We also offer equity and benefits as part of our total compensation package. Final offers may vary based on experience and qualifications - we’re always open to exceptional talent.
