Job Description - Implementation Engineer (US / India)

As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a key role in deploying SpinSci solutions to customers, enhancing patient/customer engagement and satisfaction. You will participate in all phases of solution implementation, tackling complex business problems and ensuring the solution performs as designed—maximizing user experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure SpinSci solutions in customer environments, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams to conduct discovery sessions and develop detailed technical specifications.
  • Lead and participate in end-to-end solution deployment, validating that the system functions as intended and delivers a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough end-to-end testing, and support customers through the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase.
  • Partner with Delivery Managers to prepare and deliver technical training to customer teams.
  • Provide Level 3 support and problem resolution in coordination with the Day 2 support team.
  • Engage cross-functional teams including offshore engineering and customer IT teams to ensure smooth implementation and support transitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field—or equivalent experience with relevant certifications.
  • Strong experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Linux OS in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure and network systems, including middleware setup, networking, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Experience with middleware and enterprise applications deployment on major OS platforms (Windows/Linux) in both on-premises and cloud settings.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, operating systems, middleware, databases, DevOps tools, and customer interaction technologies (e.g., web, SMS, voice, IVR, chatbots).
  • Knowledge of Mirth Integration and HL7 protocols is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner, and CRM systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of system security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, including customer stakeholders and offshore engineering teams.
