Physical AI for safer, autonomous human transport in buildings
Sphaira builds Physical AI that automates human transport inside large built environments — starting with hospitals. Our mission is to make patient movement safe, efficient, and humane so caregivers can focus on care rather than logistics.
We call this domain “Autonomous Intramobility”: an infrastructure layer of Autonomous Intramobility Vehicles (AIVs) that move patients and other people within airports, hospitals, and similar facilities while reducing staff burden and improving patient experience.
Our technology addresses growing demand for scalable, contact-safe transport in clinical settings, helping reduce isolation-related harm, speed clinical workflows, and improve access to diagnostics and family contact.

Our flagship concept and prototype, MOBY P1, is a mobile protective vehicle enabling patients in isolation to move safely while maintaining human connection. We pilot solutions that integrate autonomy, clinical workflows, and human-centered design.
