Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on IT infrastructure pioneer with a broad skillset, leadership potential, and the drive to shape the future Snke Core IT infrastructure. This is an opportunity to be part of a foundational team that will ensure continuity of IT services and help design and implement the IT landscape for a new, independent organization.
As this role will grow into a central position within the expanding Snke IT organization, we’re seeking someone who not only masters diverse technologies but is also ready to take ownership, lead initiatives, and help build a strong, scalable infrastructure from the ground up.
This involves:
- Data center facilities and server hardware
- Virtualization technologies including storage landscape (VMware)
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Windows and Linux server management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture designs
- Hands-on experience with servers, storage systems and backup environments in on-prem facilities
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management
- Good understanding of IT security concepts
- Analytical troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to data center and network automation
- Structured, analytical, and service-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Relevant certifications are a plus
