Job Description

You will not only support our global colleagues with day-to-day IT support — you will actively shape the setup of our IT Service Desk. Together with us you will develop structures, processes and standards that stand the test of time. Your contribution will lay the foundation for a modern, efficient and user-focused IT support.
Mission
  • Build, develop and actively shape our new IT Service Desk
  • Coordinate and act as interface between first- and second-level support
  • Analyze, prioritize and handle software and hardware incidents
  • Gather requirements, advise internal customers and develop appropriate solutions
  • Install and configure PC workstations and software
  • User and permissions management
  • Document all processes in the ticketing system
  • Establish and maintain a knowledge and solution database
  • Support and coordinate our trainees
  • Provide VIP support for selected stakeholders
  • Continuously optimize our operational processes and structures

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable qualification
  • Experience in 1st- or 2nd-level support or in a service desk
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, M365 and Apple iOS
  • Confident handling of current standard hardware (desktop, notebook, printer)
  • Desirable: basic knowledge of Active Directory, LAN/WAN and telecommunication
  • Enthusiasm for building new solutions, contributing ideas and actively shaping structures
  • Experience working with ticketing systems
  • High service orientation, sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
