Selfapy provides clinically evaluated online therapy programs (accessible via web and mobile app) for people with mental health conditions. Our digital medical product delivers evidence-based, guideline-oriented psychological support for indications such as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, bulimia, binge-eating disorder and chronic pain. Programs can be prescribed by doctors or psychotherapists and are reimbursed 100% by German statutory health insurers.

Founded in 2016 by Nora Blum, Katrin Bermbach and Farina Schurzfeld, Selfapy's mission is to ensure that no one in need of psychological help has to wait for treatment. We offer fast, flexible and low-threshold access to therapy so more people receive timely care.

Selfapy is a CE-certified Class I medical device and conducts independent randomized controlled studies to evaluate its programs. Data privacy and security are central: systems are ISO 27001 certified and operated in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Selfapy joined the MEDICE Health Family in 2025 and has supported over 40,000 users.
