Scarlet's mission is to hasten the transition to universally accessible healthcare by assessing and granting market access to medical AI devices. The company serves leading medical AI developers, with product-market fit, flowing data, and rapidly growing revenue.
About the opportunity
Scarlet certifies devices globally and is expanding into new medical areas. This is a growth inflection point and the operating model requires a complex distribution of resources. This role is the second Finance hire and will help build and optimise the financial and operational infrastructure for a high-performing organisation.
Who you are
Experience: 3-5 years working with financial and accounting data (banking, advisory, consulting, economics, accounting, data analytics).
- Rigorous: form arguments from first principles and solve problems independently.
- Communication: clear, structured written and verbal communication following MECE principles.
- Ambitious: high agency and eagerness to develop in a high-growth, evolving environment.
- Technical capability: integrate data, automate workflows across operational and financial systems, and use AI tools to increase productivity.

Desirable
A qualification or training in accounting and/or finance is desirable.
What the job involves
- Accounting: optimise accounting functions and surface real-time analytics for each financial statement.
- Finance: refine software and data flows to build autonomous, high-leverage financial operations.
- Business experience: create scalable cross-functional infrastructure combining financial, commercial and operational data.
- Unit economics: generate repeatable insights into unit cost and profitability of Scarlet's services.
- FP&A: contribute to modelling and analysis around scaling Scarlet's business model.

3) Technical interview with Marco - 45 minutes.
4) Interview with James - 30 minutes.
5) Interview with Jamie - 30 minutes.

Compensation Range: £70K - £90K; offers equity.
