Our current engineering team comprises experienced members with startup and open source backgrounds. We seek to add about three more with a strong learning drive and ambition for impactful work.

How We Work

  • Flexible working: Remote-first with no fixed hours or vacation tracking.
  • Low/no scheduled meetings: Minimal meetings, no daily stand-ups or agile ceremonies.
  • Asynchronous collaboration: Rich async discussions and flexible one-on-ones.
  • High trust and autonomy: Everyone is responsible for their work and communication.
  • Meet twice a year at our London office.

About You

Ideal candidates have one or more of the following:
  • Professional Clojure experience.
  • Professional full-stack web development experience.
  • Previous experience in health tech or regulatory space.
  • Creative independent thinker.
  • Endless curiosity and drive to understand things deeply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Living within +/- 2 hours of UK timezone.

The Interview Process

The interview includes the following steps:
  1. Intro call with Niclas (45 mins).
  2. Technical knowledge call with an engineer (60 mins).
  3. Culture fit call with a product manager (60 mins).
  4. Technical workshop with Niclas (90 mins), involving pair programming or presentation of your work.
  5. Culture fit calls with co-founders Jamie and James (30 mins each).
  6. Referencing and offer.
