Registered Dietitian
Salvo Health is looking for an experienced registered dietitian/nutritionist to play an integral role on our care team. This role will work directly with patients, offering personalized nutrition and wellness counseling to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. The dietitian will empower patients with the knowledge and tools to make lasting behavioral changes that improve clinical outcomes and overall wellness, serving as a primary success partner who addresses member health questions, provides educational resources, and fosters accountability.
What You Will Do
Deliver exceptional care centered on lifestyle change management (nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, behavioral change) rooted in evidence-based counseling.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including registered dietitians, licensed nurses, LCSWs, medical assistants, and gastroenterologists.
Support patients with both synchronous and asynchronous care, utilizing motivational interviewing to enhance behavioral change.
Adhere to clinical protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
RD/RDN required. Multiple state licensure is a plus (Florida and Georgia preferred, but not required).
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RD/RDN.
Working knowledge of nutritional approaches for GI conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO) is a plus. Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Experience communicating with patients asynchronously is preferred.
Passion for facilitating behavior change and helping clients set health goals to manage chronic disease.
Willingness to go above and beyond normal responsibilities to provide excellent care, with strong interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
