RoX Health is a digital health innovation studio within the Roche Group. We combine startup agility with the strategic scale and expertise of a global pharmaceutical and diagnostics company to explore, test and validate new digital health business models.
Our mission is to turn fast experiments into scalable healthcare solutions that create measurable impact for patients, clinicians and healthcare systems by running real‑world pilots with startups, innovators and healthcare partners.
What We Do
We enable early- to growth-stage ventures through collaborative pilots, regulatory and market access support, and access to Roche's global ecosystem across clinical, technological and commercial expertise. We act as a bridge between digital health ecosystems and Roche to prepare validated concepts for scale.
RoX operates with an entrepreneurial, outcome-driven mindset focused on accelerating product validation, commercialization pathways and strategic fit with Roche.
Focus Areas
We prioritise digital health solutions in areas where they complement pharmaceutical and diagnostic products and can improve patient outcomes and system efficiency. Current focus areas include:
- Cardiovascular & Metabolism (e.g., heart failure, obesity, hypertension)
- Neurology (early detection and care pathways, with a focus on Alzheimer's)
- Digital Pathology (cancer screening and diagnostics integration)
Based in Berlin, Germany, RoX partners with startups, healthcare providers and industry collaborators to accelerate the journey from validation to scalable impact.
