Job Summary

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Engagement Manager to deliver value to healthcare clients through innovative AI solutions. This role is well suited for a recent graduate (0–2 years) with strong technical aptitude and a passion for generative AI in healthcare. The Business Analyst will identify, develop, and implement custom AI solutions for client needs, support analytical initiatives, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and travel as needed to understand healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Customized AI Assistant Development:
  • Engage directly with health system employees to identify high-value use cases
  • Conduct on-site product discovery with end users, including workflow mapping, key data and document requirements, product features, and evaluation metrics
  • Align with stakeholders on product features, user groups, and rollout plans
  • Leverage the QH Assistant Builder platform to develop and evaluate AI assistants; coordinate with engineering as needed
  • Lead user training and testing; collect feedback
  • Coordinate communications and customer support for assistant rollout
Support Engagement Manager on account management activities, such as:
  • Create presentations for regular check-ins and executive meetings
  • Conduct data analysis to support use case business cases and impact analysis
  • Lead user training webinars for existing product deployments
  • Prepare monthly governance metrics for client accounts
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation of best practices and participation in team learning sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical field
  • Recent graduate (0–2 years) with demonstrated proficiency in generative AI technologies
  • Advanced understanding of GPT models, prompt engineering, and AI application development
  • Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Able to work onsite in Palo Alto 3 days/week

Ideal Experience

  • Hands-on experience building custom AI applications
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, terminology, or IT systems
  • Previous internship or project experience in consulting, client services, or healthcare technology
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Experience working in cross-functional team environments

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of generative AI, machine learning concepts, and prompt engineering techniques
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Client Interaction: Comfortable engaging with healthcare professionals at all levels
  • Internal Collaboration: Strong ability to coordinate across internal teams and manage competing priorities
  • Project Coordination: Experience with project management and methodologies
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in diverse healthcare environments
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • Learning Agility: Quick learner with curiosity about healthcare challenges and emerging AI technologies
  • Initiative: Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting team objectives

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
