Commercial Development Analyst/ Senior Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Development Analyst is a key contributor supporting Qbtech’s commercial growth strategy. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Development, this role will be key in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities, optimizing commercial operations, and delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making.
With a strong focus on virtual healthcare providers and new market opportunities, the Analyst will perform market research, develop financial models, and support the implementation of commercial initiatives across geographies and customer segments. The role requires a structured, analytical thinker with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Strategy and expansion – Identify and evaluate strategic commercial opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate new geographic and segment opportunities
  • Monitor and support in evaluation of market trends
  • Assist in defining and validating demand for new products and services
  • Opportunity scoping and development of business cases
  • Contribute to resource planning and execution support for new market initiatives
Operational excellence
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize commercial performance data
  • Provide actionable insights to support commercial success (such as pricing, funnel performance, customer behaviors cross “enable, close and grow”-phases)
  • Assist in developing/acquiring and rolling out tools and processes that improve commercial efficiency
  • Collaborate on commercial KPIs, dashboards, and reporting
  • Contribute to resourcing and business case decisions on how to optimize for best growth and profitability

Who are you?

  • High level of accountability, ownership, and drive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial strategy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Interest in digital health and healthcare innovation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences (Master’s preferred)
  • 2–4 years of experience in a commercial, business analysis, or strategy role—preferably in management consulting, medtech, digital health, or healthcare services
  • Experience in market research, financial modelling, and commercial operations
  • Familiarity with digital healthcare and regulatory considerations is an advantage
  • International experience and comfort working in cross-cultural teams

Work environment

  • This position is based in our Houston office.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
