About the role

The Clinical Advisor is responsible for expanding customers' knowledge of appropriate applications, usage and training of the products and services provided by Qbtech, including QbTest and QbCheck. The role involves meeting with customers and potential customers both in person and via virtual communication to train on effective and appropriate use of the device, based on operations and technical manuals. The Clinical Advisor will provide clinical support and assistance through training clinicians on how QbTest and QbCheck are used in the assessment and treatment follow up of ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults, including administration and interpretation of QbTest/QbCheck reports.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

The key duties include:
  • Installing QbTest hardware at customer locations and ensuring full functionality
  • Training and certifying administrators and technicians on appropriate access to reports, data entry of patient information, quality assurance checks, patient setup on the system and troubleshooting
  • Training and certifying clinicians on appropriate access to reports, data entry of patient information, quality assurance checks, and interpretation of clinical reports
  • Analyzing customer usage reports to determine opportunities for improving clinical efficiency and utilization of Qbtech products, including overall customer behavior and recommending action plans with management
  • Working with the sales department to assist in demonstrations of the system and provide clinical explanation of research and usage
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and the medical department for research initiatives and data collection as appropriate
  • Responding timely (within 24 hours) to clinical and operational questions that could impact test performance and usage
  • Working with the quality department to identify and help improve customers who are outliers in regard to quality assurance measures

Who are you?

You are a clinically trained professional with a strong foundation in mental or behavioral health, passionate about improving patient outcomes and supporting clinicians. You combine clinical expertise with excellent communication skills to confidently train and advise customers on best practices. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment. You can translate clinical knowledge into practical guidance and act as a trusted partner to providers, clinicians, and patients.

Requirements

The role requires:
  • Clean Driver's Record
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Active and valid driver’s license
  • Master's degree or higher in a field of mental or behavioral health
  • License or license eligible in mental or behavioral health
  • 1 year clinical experience in diagnosis and assessment of mental health disorders
  • 1 year experience in cognitive assessment and/or research preferred

Work environment

This position is remote, with approximately 40% of the job occurring in the home office and up to 60% domestic travel to clinics. Travel may include overnights for periods of up to 2–3 days per week and availability for travel should be 2–3 days a week. Travel can include driving, domestic flying, and international flying 1–2 times per year. Location requirement: within 45 minutes of a major airport.
