Business Development Manager

About the role

The position of US Business Development Manager suits a top performer with recent sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and ADHD. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the generation of new business in medical offices treating and managing ADHD and hitting annual sales quotas. Daily activities will include selling Qbtech products to psychiatrists, pediatricians, Neurologists and GPs. This position will work closely with our Clinical Advisor team in the US to help clinicians resolve clinical process issues as it relates to objective testing for ADHD.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting sales targets
  • Develop new leads in the physician field within ADHD
  • Develop sales strategies that optimize sales activities to achieve targeted quota
  • Demonstrate required product and scientific knowledge of product to medical and administrative staff
  • Assist new customers in financial, business and operations planning for onboarding Qbtech services
  • Work alongside US Clinical team to ensure scientific value of device is conveyed, and operational capacity of clinic is optimal

Who are you?

  • Highly self-motivated, confident, and able to adapt to various professional environments
  • Proven sales success, close sales, and develop sales relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of US Healthcare including operations, funding, and mental health
  • Ability to understand new research and apply it to sales process
  • Understand the implications of working in a regulatory environment
  • Strong presentation and training skills including adaptability to various professional environments
  • Ability to challenge existing practice, identify challenges within clinical process and provide solutions

We are looking for someone who has

  • 1-3 years' experience in sales with proven sales success
  • 1-3 years' experience in working with physicians in hospital, network and private settings
  • Experience calling on physicians, including preexisting relationship
  • Interest in generating new business in medical offices treating and managing ADHD
  • Interest in helping improve clinical practice and interest in helping patients achieve a better clinical outcome
  • Able to travel domestically 2-3 days a week, and internationally 2-4 times per year
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Active and Valid drivers license
