With over 48 years of industry experience, DKI's network of providers offers restoration and reconstruction services for commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm, and other disasters. In addition to emergency services, DKI providers also assist with environmental services and capital improvement projects.

Job Description

The Operations Associate Consultant will manage commercial projects for DKI's commercial clients with oversight of all operational processes of the project including project production, audit, and billing. The role requires close collaboration with DKI's commercial clients and providers to ensure projects meet client expectations and invoicing accuracy.
Key areas of oversight include:
  • Project Management - disseminate job information to the client and DKI provider.
  • Compliance - ensure projects are performed according to client contractual needs.
  • Quality Assurance - identify and resolve issues throughout the project timeline.
  • Audit & Review - review estimates and ensure invoicing is supported by documentation.
The Operations Associate Consultant is expected to provide the highest level of customer service to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate client service level requirements, billing price lists, NTE costs, purchase order approvals, and more to DKI providers for all new projects.
  • Evaluate project scopes and collaborate with DKI providers to prepare proposals for client approval.
  • Provide project management oversight using DKI's CRM job platform by adding documents, estimates, and photos to job files.
  • Recognize and resolve project-related issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships to cultivate new projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple clients.
  • Audit and review estimates and invoices for accuracy.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills including negotiation and intermediary roles.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent client and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of industry software such as Xactimate, T&M Pro, Moisture Mapping software reports.
  • Proficient in business software including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to DKI Core Values and sound business judgment.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with the employee working up to 100% of the time in a stationary position. Most communication is via email, video conference, and phone. Minimal supervision is expected.

Travel

Position may require up to 40% travel for client meetings, key jobs, conferences, and training sessions.

Education and Experience

  • General knowledge of the restoration industry with 5 years of experience in mitigation, construction, and environmental services.
  • Preferred 3 years of estimating training and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of insurance claims business experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent of 5 years work experience.
