About The Role

The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and management of Global Arts Live9s artistic and community engagement programs. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual with a passion for the arts and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Artistic Director, Marketing team, and community partners to ensure the successful delivery of performances, outreach initiatives, and educational programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications

Candidates should possess a bachelor9s degree in Arts Administration, Cultural Studies, or a related field. Prior experience in arts programming, event management, or community outreach is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively liaise with artists, partners, and audiences. Familiarity with the arts landscape in Boston and a passion for diverse cultural expressions will be considered a significant advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and basic database management is expected. The ideal candidate demonstrates a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to promoting inclusive arts programming.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of performances, community outreach, and educational programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Support artist relations, including contract management, technical requirements, and hospitality arrangements.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue setup, ticketing, marketing materials, and audience engagement activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of programs, budgets, and partnerships to ensure smooth operations and accountability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote upcoming events through various channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, artists, and stakeholders to expand program reach and impact.
  • Assist with grant applications, reports, and other funding-related documentation to support program sustainability.
  • Participate in organizational meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives and improvements.
