About This Role
Bigo Live is looking for a Business Analytics intern to join our user team! A successful candidate will be dependable in delivery and reliable in knowledge. If you have a drive for business intelligence and insights beyond the given information you will excel at this role.
Internship Length
At least 6 months as a full-time intern with the opportunity to convert to full-time employees based on performance and headcount.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automations, visualizations, and reporting tools used by operations.
- Use SQL to extract data and create reports.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Provide actionable insights to user group teams and leaders.
- Become subject matter experts on areas of emphasis and be able to flag significant changes quickly.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, business, statistics, etc.
- Proficiency in various forms of SQL such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets formulas and functions; scripting language experience like Python, R, Javascript, Google App Script is a plus.
- Ability to understand and communicate data into actionable goals.
- Comfortable with presenting data and information to others, including non-technical audiences.
- Versatility in focus and coordination with other team members.
