About the Job
Radiology is the second most used healthcare service, used by over 51% of the workforce annually. OneImaging is addressing the outdated medical imaging exam process with a concierge approach and a premium-quality radiology network of over 4,000 vetted providers across 48 states, reducing imaging costs by 60-80%. The solution helps patients access essential radiology services at fair prices without surprise bills, delivering immediate savings and ROI for employers and payers.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect with a focus on healthcare integrations, to architect the platform layer connecting provider networks, care navigator operations, and clinical workflows. This senior individual contributor role involves writing production code, building services, owning critical systems, setting architectural direction, and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities

Design and manage data adapters integrating with external imaging facilities, payers, and TPAs, adhering to health data standards (FHIR/HL7, DICOM).
Conduct rigorous code reviews, set coding standards, and promote engineering best practices to maintain secure, compliant, high-quality codebases.
Design reliability and graceful degradation systems for scaling from thousands to millions of orders, including fault tolerance, error reporting, load and stress testing, recovery strategies, and observability standards.
Write clear engineering documentation outlining architecture choices, milestones, and steps for achieving goals.
Mentor backend and full-stack engineers, sharing tools and approaches to enhance problem-solving, focusing mainly on coding and system architecture.
Partner with Product to translate business goals into efficient, value-driven technical solutions, ensuring proper scoping and tradeoff transparency.
Collaborate with DevOps to incorporate CI/CD, observability, security, and cost-transparency into services.
Qualifications
