About the job:
We are looking for psychological counselors (m/f/d) on a full-time or part-time basis for our psychological counseling in Dortmund, effective immediately. The psychological service for our partner company is available around the clock and provides support and counseling for people in acute stress situations in the form of individual conversations. In addition, conducting group sessions and conceptualizing psychological content are part of your job profile. In close cooperation with our team in Berlin, you will help develop our digital product, which provides psychological support to thousands of people daily.
Your tasks:
- You provide psychological support to employees in emergency service (8-hour shifts)
- You support people in crisis situations and conduct psychological counseling sessions
- You conceptualize and design group sessions that promote exchange among employees
- In collaboration with our Berlin team, you develop psychological content for our digital product
- You have the opportunity to offer additional individual and group sessions digitally on the platform (outside of emergency service)
What you bring:
- You have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology
- You have initial professional experience in psychological counseling or therapy
- You are characterized by the ability to respond empathetically and professionally to people in crisis situations
- You have excellent communication skills
- Native-level German language skills and good English skills complete your profile
- You have experience working in a digital context and enjoy a dynamic modern work culture
- Advantageous: Willingness to work during off-hours, e.g., nights or weekends
