Your mission
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Increase revenue within existing accounts through expanding into new teams, business units, or geographies of current clients
- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and business outcomes
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success (CS) to leverage product usage, adoption, and satisfaction data
Your responsibility
Must-Have:
- Proactive outbound approach & prospecting mindset
- Enterprise navigation skills — confidently identify and engage key decision-makers and economic buyers across functions and geographies
Nice-to-Have:
- Proven upselling & cross-selling experience — success in selling additional modules, premium tiers, or adjacent solutions
- Advanced negotiation skills — ability to structure complex deals and manage procurement processes
You'll be successful with these skills & experience
Must-Have:
- A “hunter” mentality — comfortable pursuing multiple prospects within target accounts over extended sales cycles
- Persistence and resilience — able to drive expansion deals that may take months to close
- Consultative selling skills — focusing on client outcomes rather than product features
- Strong relationship-building abilities to foster long-term trust
- Collaborative mindset — work hand-in-hand with Customer Success to drive strategic account growth
Nice-to-Have:
- Strategic thinking — map large organizations, identify key stakeholders, and influence decision-making
- Prior SaaS experience in account expansion or cross-selling
- Analytical mindset — ability to interpret account health, usage metrics, and churn risks to identify growth opportunities
