Job Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our User Research team and partner directly with the Product Growth team. The role involves leading research to understand users' journeys, influencing strategies for user acquisition, onboarding, and retention, and creating a more seamless and valuable experience for new and existing users.
- Lead research by planning and executing various studies focused on the user growth lifecycle, including understanding motivations, onboarding barriers, and reasons for user churn.
- Conduct impactful research using qualitative and quantitative methods like usability testing, A/B testing, surveys, competitor analysis, and user interviews to gather insights that inform product decisions.
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and data analysts to embed user research into the product development process and help develop and test hypotheses for new growth initiatives.
- Communicate findings by synthesizing and presenting research findings clearly and compellingly to stakeholders, acting as the voice of the user.
- Build a long-term research roadmap for the Product Growth team aligned with business goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in user research, ideally focusing on product growth, user acquisition, or conversion.
- Strong command of qualitative research methodologies and survey design; quantitative methods experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Business and data-driven mindset, capable of connecting user insights to business outcomes and translating qualitative data into actionable recommendations linked to product metrics.
- Strategic thinking with a desire to uncover the most important questions to drive business impact.
- Fluency in additional languages like German or Portuguese is a plus.

Location
Remote-friendly, with most of the User Research team located in Stockholm and occasional in-person meetings at the office.
