At Midi Health, we are transforming midlife care, and our health system partnerships are central to that mission. The Clinician Educator (contract) is a clinical and operational ambassador who ensures our care model is deeply understood, trusted, and adopted within partner health systems. This remote 1099 contractor role reports to the Senior Health System Partnership Lead and requires approximately 25–30% travel to active partner markets.
Responsibilities
You will engage physician leaders, service line directors, administrators, and frontline clinicians as a peer and trusted thought partner. Through education, collaboration, and relationship stewardship, you will help expand awareness of Midi’s model, strengthen care coordination pathways, and sustain long-term adoption across partner markets.
- Maintain and deepen clinical buy-in across health system partnerships
- Lead educational sessions (virtual and in-person), including grand rounds and departmental meetings
- Influence adoption and engagement by clearly articulating Midi’s clinical and operational value within partner systems
- Clearly articulate Midi’s clinical care model, protocols, documentation standards, and care pathways
- Facilitate alignment between Midi’s standards of care and partner health system models
- Identify workflow friction and communicate structured insights back to internal teams
- Collaborate with the Health System Partnerships team to strengthen and sustain active partnerships
- Surface actionable field insights to inform internal strategy and partnership growth
Qualifications
Successful candidates will bring clinical credibility, education experience, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Active U.S. clinical license (RN, NP, PA)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Experience in a health system environment (clinical leadership, service line management, provider operations, or administrative roles preferred)
- Experience leading education, training, or professional development initiatives for clinical audiences strongly preferred
- Experience presenting to physician and clinical leadership audiences
- Ability to travel approximately 25–30% (about one week per month)
- Strong executive-level communication and facilitation skills
- Comfort navigating complex stakeholder environments; curiosity, adaptability, and relationship-driven mindset
- Health system startup or high-growth healthcare experience preferred but not required
Interview Process & Schedule
Interview stages include a Recruiter interview (30 minutes via Zoom), Hiring Manager interview (45 minutes via Zoom), and a Panel interview (2–3 hours via Zoom). Schedule: 9:00–5:30 pm.
Please note this is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and does not offer benefits. The rate of pay is up to $70/hr, dependent on experience, location, and other factors.
