mentalis — digital and hybrid mental healthcare
mentalis combines evidence-based therapy apps with personalised tele-therapeutic conversations to improve access to high-quality mental healthcare. We support people after psychiatric hospital stays and provide immediate professional help for young people and adults through hybrid care models.
As a spin-out from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, our programs are clinically validated and continuously evaluated. Our therapy-apps are secure, CE-marked medical products and are available for patients for up to 12 months.
We partner with clinics and health insurers to bridge gaps in standard care and ensure timely access to treatment. More than 100 clinics and over 40 health insurers already work with mentalis.
What we offer
Key services include:
- mentalis Nachsorge — structured aftercare programs following inpatient treatment (depression, psychotic disorders, substance use, borderline, eating disorders, emotion regulation)
- mentalis CareNow — immediate support for young people aged 13–21
- mentalis Resilience+ — short-term, evidence-based support for adults
- Hybrid care model: app-based individual therapy plans plus regular therapeutic tele-sessions
