mementor develops and distributes digital medical products for sleep medicine and related fields. Founded in 2014 in Switzerland by Dr. Noah Lorenz, Alexander Rötger, Jan Kühni and Daniel Rotzetter, the company moved its headquarters to Leipzig in January 2020. mementor creates prescription digital therapeutics to remove treatment barriers and provide patients access to evidence-based therapies where conventional care reaches its limits.
Our mission and approach
We build prescription "Apps on prescription" based on rigorous scientific standards. The team focuses on evidence-based interventions, strict data protection and patient safety to close gaps in healthcare and help shape the future of digital medicine.
Key products
mementor's flagship product is somnio, a permanently approved DiGA (app on prescription) since October 2020 for the treatment of insomnia, based on cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). Clinical randomized studies have demonstrated somnio's effectiveness. The company also develops actensio (for hypertension) and other digital therapeutics in adjacent areas.
Quality and integration with ResMed
mementor is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO 13485 for medical device quality management. Since 2 August 2022 mementor DE has been part of ResMed in Germany and operates as a distinct business unit within ResMed to expand digital sleep medicine offerings.
