Marketing Coordinator / Social Media Manager (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: New York City — On-site. Part-time (20–30 hours/week). Hourly rate: $30–$60/hour. Opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

The Role
Meela is hiring a part-time Marketing Coordinator / Social Media Manager to own the company’s social presence and support broader marketing execution. The role emphasizes creating and editing visual collateral and executing social content consistently.
This is an on-site role in NYC with a clear path to a full-time position for the right candidate.
What You9ll Do
- Own Meela9s social media presence across platforms (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram)
- Support design needs (social graphics, marketing assets)
- Plan and execute a consistent posting cadence (2 6 posts per week)
- Implement and iterate on Meela9s social media strategy
- Assist with broader marketing coordination and execution
- Provide light executive-assistant-style support related to marketing and communications work
- Support event and conference planning
What We9re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience managing social media for a company, brand, or organization, with exposure to broader marketing execution
- Comfortable implementing an existing content and social media strategy and executing consistently
- Extensive experience with design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.)
- Soft video skills required: capturing short clips, basic editing, and preparing content for social platforms
- Willingness to work on-site in New York City
- Clear interest in Meela9s mission and the people it affects
Nice to Haves
- Deeper videography experience (shooting, lighting, editing, or longer-form production)
- Startup or small-team experience
- Experience supporting broader marketing work
- Familiarity with healthcare, senior living, or mission-driven companies
