Founding Senior Engineer — Meela Inc.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement reliable infrastructure to support AI companions across hundreds of calls per user.
• Work across the stack using Python, React, vector databases (Pinecone), and LLM tools to deliver production systems.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO on product strategy and the CTO on technical design.
• Shape engineering practices and product culture in a founding role.
• Improve AI quality via data tooling, observability, and iteration on personalization and conversation flows.

What You Bring

• Full‑stack engineering experience with a strong backend focus; comfortable shipping systems in early‑stage environments.
• Fluency in Python and ReactJS; experience with modern web frameworks and API design.
• Experience or strong interest in LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and conversational AI.
• A focus on scalable design, clean abstractions, and operational excellence.
• Strong product intuition and the ability to convert user needs into technical architecture.
• A builder’s spirit: hands‑on, proactive, and ownership‑oriented.
