Medmo is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe/Data Entry Specialist to support patient operations and quality control workflows in our proprietary system. This is an entry-level role that offers exposure to healthcare operations and collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Patients often wait longer, pay more, and struggle to retrieve records of their imaging, which ultimately leads to worsened outcomes and negative experiences.
Medmo is a new type of healthcare marketplace that gives consumers the freedom to easily access medical imaging services from accredited healthcare providers in their area. By creating the connective tissue between top imaging centers and providers, we ensure our patients receive affordable, high-quality care while our imaging partners improve the efficiency of their centers.
Role summary
As a Medical Scribe/Data Entry Specialist you will review medical data in Medmo’s proprietary system, support patient operations, and provide feedback to the engineering team. This role is well suited for candidates interested in healthcare careers and working with fast-growing technology companies.
Responsibilities
- Support quality control workflows in the proprietary system to support patient operations functions
- Review referrals for accuracy and errors to ensure they can be processed correctly
- Collaborate across the patient operations function to ensure successful processing of all radiology referrals
- Assist with administrative duties
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Healthcare, clinical or other relevant industry experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EHR platforms a plus
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Self-starter with grit and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Hyper-organized in day-to-day work
- Able to multi-task and stay confident under pressure
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
The hourly range for this position is $17 - $21 per hour. This range is based on market data for similar roles in this area, taking into account the specific skills and experience required.
