Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to establish and lead product management for our telehealth platform as we scale. This role is responsible for assessing, defining, and prioritizing value-added product and service capabilities that support clinicians, patients, partners/alliances, and customers while balancing regulatory, technical, and operational considerations in a lean organization.
About the Role
The Product Manager will collaborate closely across executive, operations, and engineering teams to drive scalable, impactful solutions that deliver value for our team and growing customer base. Success in this role requires translating business needs into clear product decisions with emphasis on healthcare workflows, compliance, and ROI for stakeholders in telehealth operations. The role balances product management and product marketing responsibilities and will serve as a key driver of cross-functional alignment and timely delivery of product roadmaps.
Reporting to the President/COO, this fully remote role is ideal for a highly motivated, hands-on product leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
- Organize and manage product vision with CEO/Founder, President/COO, CTO, and other team members, including development of problem statements and success metrics for the telehealth platform and service offerings.
- Identify and prioritize features that address the needs of enterprise, SMB, and startup partners while maintaining a cohesive platform strategy.
- Collaborate with CEO and CTO to translate strategic goals into a prioritized, living product roadmap balancing near-term wins and long-term scalability.
- Define product investment boundaries by customer tier to avoid one-off requests compromising platform integrity or delivery velocity.
- Participate in the company’s first product and customer advisory board (Customer Council) to capture and track feedback on product strategy and roadmap execution.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual roadmap communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Engineering Collaboration
- Work with CTO and engineering to define requirements, establish priorities, clarify scope and expected value, and ensure solutions are technically feasible and scalable.
- Write clear product briefs, requirements, and acceptance criteria that translate complex needs into actionable work and realistic timelines.
- Support delivery through collaboration, iteration, and continuous feedback to align outcomes with intended value.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation including market research, user stories, technical specifications, and release notes.
- Establish lightweight product management processes, artifacts, and decision frameworks suitable for a growing organization.
- Develop and collaborate on a structured release cadence aligned with engineering, QA, and operational testing teams.
Customer and Market Insights
- Develop a deep understanding of clinicians, internal users, and customer segments through qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving telehealth expectations to inform product decisions.
- Understand differences in buying cycles, implementation needs, and success metrics across enterprise, SMB, and startup partners.
- Partner with CTO and Marketing to establish and lead a Customer Council to solicit feedback and translate validated insights into roadmap priorities.
Product Marketing and Enablement
- Partner with Marketing to articulate clear product value propositions and messaging for enterprise, SMB, and startup partners.
- Translate roadmap features and releases into customer-ready narratives, including positioning, use cases, and “why it matters” messaging.
- Support go-to-market by enabling Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships with product context, launch materials, and competitive insights.
- Create product marketing and communication plans for release announcements, feature testing, and full releases.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in telehealth, health tech, or highly regulated SaaS environments.
- Proven ability to define product value and influence roadmaps in organizations with strong founder or clinical leadership.
- Experience working closely with founders, executives, engineering leaders, and technical teams to deliver complex platform products and translate value to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and launching successful software products. Strong program and project management discipline.
- Motivated to build processes, documentation, and infrastructure in a fast-growing, scaling organization.
- Strong business and product judgment with comfort navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Adept at collaborating across technology, marketing, and clinical domains.
- Excellent communication skills to influence clinical, technical, end user, and executive audiences.
