OBGYN - Ireland

About This Role

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic OB/GYN to support our members through virtual care services.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
    • Birth control, emergency contraception
    • STI counseling
    • Pregnancy, contraception, and Covid-19 counseling
    • Yeast infections, BV, urinary tract infections, bacterial vaginosis
    • Anxiety and depression (including postpartum)
    • Menopause hormone therapy
  • Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
  • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
  • Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Who You Are:

  • Hold the following licenses or education: Must be registered (or eligible for registration) on the Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with completion of CSCST or equivalent specialist training.
  • Must be residing in Ireland
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 1-10 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
  • Have 2+ years of prior experience in the telehealth space. Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
  • Must own an iOs device (iPhone or iPad) that can be updated past iOs16 and have access to a laptop computer with strong and reliable internet access
  • Must be passionate about women’s and family health
  • Must have experience with menopause
