About This Role
Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic mental health provider (NY license) to support our members through virtual care services. This role is remote.
As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to connect with members across the globe, scaling impact and healthcare access worldwide. You will join a curated provider network encompassing 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care.

Responsibilities
- Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 40-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause, menopause, adoption, surrogacy, fertility, egg freezing, loss, return-to-work, anxiety, depression, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, balancing work-life and parent life, parent and family coaching.
- Use brief solution-focused therapy to address immediate issues so client leaves with tools and skills.
- Capture encounter summary documentation in practice management system, MPractice.
- Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups.
- Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing the belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone.
Qualifications
- Hold an unrestricted LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license in New York.
- Have 3+ years working independently without supervision and no disciplinary actions.
- Reside in the United States.
- Able to provide direct member care for 5 per week; part-time independent contractor role (1099 position).
- Must contract through a business entity (LLC required).
- 3+ years of prior experience in tele-health; comfortable providing care through digital health platform.
- Own an iOS device (iPhone or iPad) updated past iOS 16 and have access to a laptop with reliable internet.
- Passionate about women’s and family health.
