About This Role
Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic General Practitioner to support members through virtual care services.
Providers connect with members worldwide, joining a curated provider network encompassing 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care.
As the member population expands in 175+ countries, they are growing the provider network. Ideal candidates are passionate about improving clinical outcomes, reducing healthcare costs, and delivering compassionate evidence-based care.
What You'll Do
- Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around general health, preventive health, urinary tract infections, birth control, medications, cold, flu, COVID-19, skin disease and rashes, pink eye, vaccinations, and allergies.
- Capture encounter summary documentation in practice management system (MPractice).
- Collaborate with Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met including in-person referrals and follow-ups.
- Serve as ambassador of Maven’s care model providing culturally humble care and championing belief in better outcomes for women and families.
Who You Are
- Hold MD degree and board certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- Reside in Canada and be fluent in English.
- Provide direct member care for 5 hours per week as a part-time independent contractor (1099 position).
- Have 3+ years of telehealth experience comfortable providing care through digital health platform.
- Passionate about women’s and family health with required pediatric experience.
