Business Development Representative (m/f/d) – Pharma

Your mission
As a Business Development Representative at mama health, you will build and qualify pipeline for our Pharma Platform across the US market, while being based in New York. You will:
- Drive outbound pipeline generation: identify, target, and engage pharma and healthcare prospects via email, LinkedIn, and phone, consistently creating qualified opportunities.
- Own top-of-funnel execution: research accounts, identify relevant stakeholders (e.g. marketing, patient insights, digital teams), and craft highly personalized outreach that resonates.
- Qualify and convert interest into meetings: run sharp qualification to understand needs, use cases, and timing, and hand over high-quality opportunities to Account Executives.
- Develop a strong point of view on pharma marketing: understand industry trends, patient engagement challenges, and how mama health’s platform creates value.
- Operate with high activity and precision: manage outreach volume, messaging quality, and CRM hygiene to consistently hit meeting and pipeline targets.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing: iterate on messaging, campaigns, and ICP definition based on real market feedback.
Your profile
We are looking for candidates who meet the following:
- Early-stage sales experience: 1–4+ years in BDR/SDR or a similar outbound role, with a track record of generating pipeline.
- Based in New York (mandatory), with a focus on the US market.
- US market fluency: native or near-native English, with a strong understanding of US buyer behavior and communication style.
- Outbound excellence: confident running high-volume, high-quality outreach and able to break into new accounts.
- Curiosity and learning speed: quickly understand complex products and translate them into clear, relevant messaging.
- Resilience and drive: comfortable with rejection, maintain high energy, and consistently push to hit targets.
- As a plus: Pharma / healthcare exposure, experience selling into pharma, healthcare, or life sciences; ideally with touchpoints in pharma marketing or patient engagement.
