About The Role
We're looking for a talented Strategy & Operations hire to work directly with the CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff to advance M7's highest-priority strategic initiatives. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role spanning business operations, strategic planning, and AI-driven execution.
You will bring a rigorous, structured approach to important business problems — thinking like a consultant, moving like a startup operator, and building with an AI-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Priorities:
- Partner with the CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff to drive M7's top strategic and operational initiatives.
- Own projects end-to-end — from structuring problems and developing recommendations to executing solutions.
- Build analyses, frameworks, and materials to help leadership make fast, well-informed decisions.
- AI Strategy & Innovation:
- Develop and execute an AI-first operating model — identify high-leverage AI opportunities, pilot tools, and embed new workflows.
- Monitor the AI landscape and recommend where M7 should invest in tooling and capabilities.
- Business Operations:
- Own operational cadences — planning cycles, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
- Identify inefficiencies and build systems, processes, and playbooks to address them.
- Growth & Sales Support:
- Support the growth team with sales materials, demos, and outbound automation using modern AI tooling.
About You
- Structured Thinker: A consulting-style approach to problem solving — break ambiguous challenges into frameworks, develop hypotheses, and drive actionable recommendations; comfortable both with strategy and hands-on execution.
- AI-Native: Curious about AI tools with hands-on experience using them to automate workflows, accelerate research, and improve output quality.
- Bias for Action: Move fast and treat work as an opportunity to raise the bar.
- Attitude and Culture: Hold yourself to high standards, lead with kindness, practice strong opinions loosely held, and demonstrate relentless energy. Be passionate about M7's mission.
Nice to Haves
- Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank is a plus.
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn AI and automation tools.
- A passion for healthcare and improving the nurse experience.
Hybrid Environment
This role is based in New York City. M7 expects this role to be in-office four days per week to enable regular in-person collaboration.
