Software Engineer
We are hiring a Software Engineer to build and scale M7 Health’s nursing workforce management platform. You will be a hands-on contributor on high-impact technical initiatives and work closely with product managers and healthcare operations experts.

We provide real-time data, predictive insights, and generative AI–driven staffing tools to match patient demand with staff supply. M7 Health is live in hundreds of hospitals and recently closed a $10M Series A round.
What youll do at M7
You will contribute to backend and full-stack engineering efforts, apply AI/ML techniques to improve scheduling intelligence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production features.
- Execute With Impact: Deliver high-quality, high-visibility features that power hospital operations nationwide.
- Leverage AI: Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance scheduling intelligence, streamline workflows, and surface actionable insights for healthcare staff.
- Architect Solutions: Help design and evolve our backend for reliability, performance, and growth.
- Collaborate Deeply: Partner with Product, Ops, and Customer teams to turn user needs into elegant, impactful solutions.
- Maintain Quality: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Support team productivity through code reviews and best practices.
- Think Beyond the Code: Contribute beyond your job description to solve customer challenges and refine team processes.

- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite
- Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeORM

- Builders Mindset: Love turning ideas into software and iterating quickly.
- Product Intuition: Prioritize usability and real-world impact.
- Strong Communicator: Explain complex ideas clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Hybrid Environment
We work in a hybrid structure and expect team members to be in the Manhattan office two days per week to support collaboration and culture.
