About the Role

The Product Support Engineer role is a technical position focused on understanding, debugging, and improving a production system used by hospitals. You will work at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Operations to diagnose issues, analyze data, and resolve problems that impact customers. This role reports to the Head of Engineering and partners closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Operations.

What Youll Work On

As a Product Support Engineer, you will:
  • Develop deep familiarity with M7s product, system architecture, and underlying data models
  • Investigate production issues by reproducing behavior, inspecting data, and identifying root causes
  • Use SQL and internal tooling to analyze data inconsistencies, logic errors, and system behavior
  • Resolve issues directly when possible and partner with engineers for codebase changes
  • Provide clear reproduction steps, data analysis, and impact assessments to engineers
  • Identify and document temporary workarounds to unblock users
  • Track recurring issues and contribute insights to inform product and engineering roadmap decisions
  • Document common issues, resolutions, and internal workflows to reduce repeat incidents

What Were Looking For

Were excited about candidates who are recent graduates or early-career engineers with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and who enjoy debugging complex problems, working with data, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Curiosity about end-to-end system behavior and strong debugging instincts
  • Comfort working with data and interest in becoming an SQL expert
  • Ability to reason clearly about system behavior and communicate effectively
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Nice to have (but not required):
  • Experience with SQL, APIs, or web-based systems
  • Internships or projects involving production systems, data analysis, or debugging
  • Interest in healthcare technology or enterprise software
