Role overview
This role will be based in Sunnyvale or San Francisco and is hybrid (work performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days). The Strategic Finance Senior Associate will join LinkedIn Corporate Finance to drive financial planning, reporting, and long-term strategic analysis. The role focuses on translating financial data into executive narratives, identifying actionable insights, benchmarking, supporting earnings communications, and delivering projects to support sustainable growth. The team is modernizing finance through AI-driven insights and process automation.
Responsibilities
- Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners.
- Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities.
- Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with support from senior team members.
- Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input to understand priorities and constraints.
- Communicates implications of forecasts, analyses, and trends to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
- Partners with stakeholders to support growth initiatives with a metrics-oriented perspective.
- Creates, maintains, and updates complex models and forecasts; accesses and synthesizes data across platforms to assess signals, trends, and risks.
- Executes ad hoc analyses to address ambiguous or complex business questions and derive actionable insights.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- Background in consulting, strategy, or operational finance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $158,000. Actual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate and location.
