This role is hybrid and will be performed both from home and a LinkedIn office on select days. This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Bellevue, Chicago, or New York offices. LinkedIn is searching for a Manager, Strategic Planning & Initiatives to lead and define future-state business processes and drive transformational initiatives for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.
The Manager will leverage business and people leadership skills, superior communication, relationship building, project management and analytical abilities to lead, execute and scale operational and planning processes that are key to business success. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented, comfortable managing multiple cross-functional relationships and projects, and able to communicate with executives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performance GTM strategy & operations team.
- Coach the team on big-picture thinking and operational rigor; mentor for skill and career development.
- Deliver on global processes such as annual planning; territory design and optimization; forecasting; compensation and quota setting and management.
- Lead strategic and operational projects impacting Sales and GTM Ops, including GTM strategy development, client intelligence, process improvement, and automation.
- Identify and track KPIs to inform leadership on business health and drive operational efficiency through process optimization.
- Identify and escalate risks, recommend resolutions, and develop mitigations with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proactively define business problem statements and recommend paths forward; build strong collaborative partnerships across stakeholders.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience in go-to-market/sales/business operations, consulting, investment banking, finance, strategy or analytics.
- 1+ year of people management experience.
- Experience with data analysis/modelling in Excel; knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, economics, communications, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of sales and planning processes: Territory Planning, Segmentation, Quota allocation, Pipeline and Forecasting, Business Performance Management and Compensation design.
- Experience using SQL; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to craft executive presentations.
- Experience in high-growth, performance-focused environments; strong collaboration, influence, organizational and program management skills.
- Experience with CRM, sales and data visualization tools; process and workflow design; AI fluency. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $126,000 to $204,000. Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate and location.
