Title: Generalist AI Trainer, [$40–$60]/hour
We are seeking a skilled generalist AI Trainer to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position—you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: U.S.-based experts only
Engagement: Part-time, project-based expert evaluation work
Work Type: Remote
In this role, you will support a variety of AI training and evaluation initiatives by reviewing and improving model-generated content across diverse topics. Projects may include comparing multiple responses, editing or rewriting outputs, and assessing quality based on accuracy, clarity, and usefulness. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong critical thinking and communication skills who can work across a broad range of subject areas.
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based upon anticipated time of completion. Consultants will control their own schedule, provide their own tools to perform the work, and are free to simultaneously provide services to other vendors and employers to the extent permitted by those vendors and employers.
Responsibilities
Contributors will:
- Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses across a variety of prompts
- Provide structured feedback and select preferred outputs based on defined criteria
- Edit or rewrite responses to improve clarity, accuracy, and overall quality
Expected Outcomes
- High-quality evaluations that contribute to improving AI model performance
- Consistent and timely completion of assigned tasks in alignment with project guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to assess content across a wide range of topics with attention to detail
- A minimum of a completed bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
