Job Description
This position is focused on using GCP tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Looker to enhance data quality, efficiency, and ensure timely and accurate data delivery. The role requires identifying, investigating, and solving data issues including data quality, discrepancies, and missing data. Responsibilities also involve contributing to the development and improvement of data solutions, leveraging dbt for complex modeling problems with emphasis on performance, robustness, and scalability, working on prevention and alerting solutions, adopting best practices in data processes, and effectively communicating with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders. The engineer will assist the team in designing, developing and implementing data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions while taking ownership of tasks and initiatives.
Expectations
Proven SQL skills including ability to join and manipulate data of different types (String, Integer, JSON, Array), write parameterized scripts, and debug SQL code. Knowledge of ETL and warehousing concepts is required. Strong communication skills for clear, timely, and consistent sharing of information including work progress and issues. A curious and growth-oriented learning mindset is essential. Capability to understand and communicate problems from technical and business perspectives. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Salary and Location
The gross salary range for this role is 2500 to 4600 EUR per month. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, at the company headquarters.
